This marks our final training day in Los Angeles, and we chose Gold’s Gym Venice for this last session. The energy here is simply unmatched. We focused on a full-body workout today. I did some light back exercises recently and it felt good, so I incorporated more back training into today’s routine. We’ll also do some light chest and shoulder work. I leave tonight and head back to Kelowna. This trip has been fantastic, culminating in a great photoshoot last night. I’m excited to get back to training my back consistently. It’ll be light training, but it feels good to reactivate those muscles. Let’s get started.
For the supported row, concentrate on pulling with your elbows. Drive your elbows back, not your arms. Avoid turning this exercise into a bicep curl. Your arms are merely connectors. Keep your chest against the support pad. Avoid leaning back and forth, which uses your lower back and momentum, minimizing the impact on your lats and traps. Those are the key tips for this exercise.

Our upper body workout at Gold’s is complete. It’s bittersweet to leave. It’s always tough parting ways after a productive trip. Maintaining motivation after leaving such an inspiring environment can be challenging. It’s crucial to remember that motivation comes from within. While external factors can influence mood, we must cultivate inner drive. This trip has been incredibly motivating, and I’m determined to maintain this momentum. I’ll keep reminding myself of my goals before each session to replicate the intensity I experienced here in LA.
We’re back at the Firehouse, my favorite restaurant. They have a dedicated menu for bodybuilders. Last time I enjoyed the chicken, rice, and veggies with hot sauce. It’s delicious, healthy, and clean – the classic bodybuilder meal: high protein and fiber. After this, we’ll pack up and head home.

This is my meal: teriyaki chicken, broccoli, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and brown rice. I’ll add plenty of hot sauce.
